Poetry

The below classifications represent poetic states of being; the poet, as any who speaks out, may do so either with audience, or without. Though little can be said of his attentions in the latter case, in the former, they are either divided or “devout”. This is to speak of three phase as they flux with life and death, work and word, or line and lyric: we either love, are loved or cease to exist.

The system organizes poems primarily as binary combinations of the tags Truth, Love and Freedom.

T = Truth = Truthful/thoughtful response to reality, or natural occurrence

F = Freedom = Free act of speech, imagined, pictured; to a collective

L = Love = Loving address to a particular individual

D = Duty = A dutiful acknowledgment of form (i.e. practice)

The above tags are subjective and their purpose is more so to point to the existence of the dynamic and their greater purpose, rather than to define it: self-expression, (honest) account, coherence, whether with one’s word or a single string of speech—that one cannot utter a thing without revealing of himself.
