it’s only I that falls

it’s only I that falls
deeper I go
in to the loss
of self;
out of the moss,
comes slow the air,
and the rocks sit alone
cold over the waters,
and under rich streams;
vibrant energy from you swallows me,
it is the color of my soul so fiery
flames in the wind devour the air
and they make you my kingdom
crowned, shining and smiling
until you scream for freedom,
and you fall into a pattern
while I sink into my gaze
